This album came into being thanks to the inspired mind of one Pace Rubadeau who invited the three of us to make music together under some very unusual instructions. The mission we chose to accept was this: one month to prepare for a full day of studio time, no prior rehearsal, though we could exchange potential song ideas, chord charts, etc. On February 7th we met in Andy Rick's backyard recording shack to record 8 songs in 8 hours, after never having played together before.
This album is a brave effort of collaboration, trust, openness and improvisation.
All proceeds benefit the Bellingham Girls Rock Camp, who's mission is "to educate and inspire girls and womxn to be self-empowered collaborative leaders through music education, performance, media literacy and social justice."
